The public is invited to the FREE Halloween Spooktacular from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Mission Marketplace! Mission Marketplace worked with nonprofit Adaptive Sports and Recreation Association (ASRA) to plan Halloween themed activities that ALL children, including those with mobility limitations, will enjoy.
Children get a free bucket to decorate for trick or treating at participating stores and at special community booths:
Get a unique “treat,” a free book, at the Oceanside Library booth. The library will also host Halloween children’s book story times and sign people up for a library card.
The Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside will host a Halloween fun activity.
Able-bodied children can try shooting a basketball from a wheelchair at the ASRA booth
There’s more Halloween fun! Enjoy Magic Shows, play games including Pop a Pumpkin for chance to win prizes, get a custom created balloon, and take smartphone or camera pictures with FrankenStilt, a VERY tall, costumed character, and in front of the Halloween backdrop.
No reservation needed! Everyone in the family will enjoy the Mission Marketplace Halloween Spooktacular from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29.
