Five finalists EACH won $500 to compete in the Saturday, March 9 San Diego Best Shoppers contest at Mission Marketplace in Oceanside. The finalists were selected from essays about “Why I’m San Diego’s Best Shopper.”
The winner Adrianna Villarreal impressed the judges with her smart shopping skills with her creative and smart purchases she made at stores throughout the shopping center in the three-hour contest. The judges were Scott Ashton, Chamber of Commerce CEO, Kevin Alston, Professor of Business & Finance at Southwestern Community College, and Susan McCormick Davis, National Vice President of Five Rings
Adrianna Villarreal, crowned as Mission Marketplace San Diego Best Shopper contest winner, also won $1,000 to enjoy more shopping at the Oceanside shopping center! Congratulations to the other finalists Kelly Abernathy, Lori Sankary Edmond, Heather Friedrichs and Nadia Garcia.
Five more super shoppers selected from “Why I’m San Diego’s Best Shoppers” will receive $500 to shop next Saturday at the finals at Terra Nova Plaza in Chula Vista. That winner will also win $1,000 and join Adrianna Villarreal as co-title holders as San Diego’s Best Shoppers!
